About Us

In 2008, Kenyan born, Njoki Nganga, decided to visit Canada for the first time. Having just completed her doctorate in Advanced Social Work, she visited her friends, Bill and Joan German, on Vancouver Island, prior to returning to Nairobi. Her dream was to return to her native Kenya to form an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization), to assist disadvantaged children in obtaining an education. She asked Bill and Joan to help with the business and financial aspects of running an NGO.

About-UsIn 2009, Njoki realized her dream and formed Eagle Heights Africa (Kenya). By December 2010, Bill and Joan had registered a Society in British Columbia by the name Eagle Heights Africa in BC, designed to assist Njohi in her endeavours.

Five years later, in 2014, the two NGOs were working closely together to send the initial group of 11 sponsored children to school in Nairobi, Kenya; children, who might otherwise have never attended school and who went on to Secondary School.

The future looks bright for these two NGOs with increased awareness and exposure in their respective communities and students who are formulating plans that include careers as doctors, pilots, and lawyers.
